Gentle by design
FastHer is a habit tracker, not medical advice. Fast as long as you like; on long fasts FastHer checks in at 48 hours and every day after. Breaking a fast is never shamed, and nothing in the app rewards fasting longer than you planned. Please talk to a doctor first if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18, diabetic or have a history of disordered eating.
FAQ
Questions, answered
Do I need an account?
No. Your fasts, logs and Helpers stay on your phone. If you like, sign in with Google to back up to your own Google Drive and move to a new phone; FastHer only sees its own backup file there.
What if I end a fast early?
If you pass your partial minimum (12 hours by default), it still counts toward your streak. Below that, it’s logged kindly and your Helpers cheer you on for next time.
How do eggs work?
You earn points from completed fasts, streak milestones and missions, then spend them on Base, Gold or Diamond eggs. The chances for each egg are shown before you hatch, and duplicates give some points back.
Does FastHer count steps when the app is closed?
Yes. With Physical activity allowed, Google Play services counts your steps in the background on the phone, and FastHer picks them up every 15 minutes and whenever you open it. Steps are split into fasted and feasted cardio.
Does FastHer sync with Samsung Health, Fitbit or my smart scale?
Yes, through Health Connect. Turn on Settings › Health apps and FastHer reads your weight, body fat, lean mass, resting heart rate, glucose and steps. FastHer only reads, and your data stays on your phone.
How do invites work?
Invite a friend from Missions. Once she’s set up FastHer, her app gives her a thank-you code to send back. You earn points every time a friend joins, and invite-only Helpers and trinkets at 1 to 50 friends.
Can I cancel Plus any time?
Yes. Plus is billed through Google Play and you can cancel there whenever you like. Helpers you’ve collected stay yours; the Log and body tracking lock again until you resubscribe.
